The Heights Club, a local, nonprofit organization dedicated to youth sports, is in danger of no longer being able to meet expenses brought on by equipment demands and changing safety standards.
The group has sponsored football in the greater Raleigh Court area for more than 30 years. As other local sports organizations have discontinued football programs for similar reasons, the Heights Club expanded its program to include children from other areas.
