Volunteers needed for Day of Caring

The United Way is recruiting volunteers to help with the fourth annual Day of Caring June 26. More than 140 service projects will take place as part of the one-day event ranging from cleaning to construction to sing-a-longs with the elderly.

Red Cross golf tourney set for June 10

The 10th annual Red Cross Golf Tournament to benefit disaster relief will be June 10 at Hanging Rock Golf Course in Salem. Entry fees for the competition are $400 per foursome and $100 for single players.
