IN SCHOOL

Cave Spring High School recently announced the names of several students selected to participate in the 1996-97 Virginia All-State Band and Orchestra. They are: Whitney Hanes, first chair flute, orchestra division; Kate Nettles, second chair oboe, orchestra division; and Brad Weaver and Ali Citsaz, alternates, band division. The students performed in a concert at Blacksburg High School April 13.
