ILLUSTRATION: PHOTO:  David Phillips, a member of Radford University's music 
          department faculty, is the soloist for the world premiere of his 
          "Introduction, Theme and Various Developments," a piece he composed 
          for piano and wind ensemble. Phillips and the Radford University 
          Wind Ensemble, directed by Mark Camphouse, will perform the work in 
          an 8 p.m. concert Wednesday in Preston Auditorium. The ensemble also
          will play an original composition by Camphouse called 
          "Declarations."
