Emergency services organizations that are eligible to apply for supplemental funding need to contact the United Way of Montgomery, Radford & Floyd immediately.
Monday is the application deadline for nearly $34,000 that the Federal Emergency Management Agency has offered to social service programs in Montgomery County and Radford.
The supplemental funding, announced several months ago, is for qualified, nonprofit local government or voluntary organizations that provide emergency food or shelter in those two localities.
The local United Way agency is administering the grant. For more information, call that office at 381-2066.
