Two women and a man were found shot to death in a Southside Richmond apartment, police said.
Travis I. Hill, 34, and Vickie Hodge, 37, lived in the apartment, police said Friday. Police declined to release the identification of the third victim, pending notification of family.
Police were called to the scene about 8:35 a.m. and found the three victims shot in the head. The victims were found in an upstairs bedroom.
Police spokeswoman Brenda Hughes said all of the panes in the front windows of the apartment were broken, and it is believed neighbors called the police after noticing the broken windows.
Hughes said police are investigating whether the shootings may have been related to a domestic dispute. She said police have been called to the same address for ``disorderly and disturbance calls.''
Hodge had two children, an 8-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter, who were picked up by authorities from school Friday afternoon and placed in protective custody, Hughes said.
Hughes said there had been no arrests. She would not comment on whether police had any suspects.
