Flinchum birth

Brenda and David Flinchum proudly announce the birth of their son, Nicholas Paul Flinchum, born April 9, 1996. He weighed 9 lbs. 5 oz. and measured 22 inches. Grandparents are Herman Flinchum of Salem and the late R enee Flinchum and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Blevens of Galax, Va.

A special thank you to Dr. Kelly and the nurses at Lewis Gale Hospital.

Hyler birth

Alayna Page Hyler was born on M arch 6, 1996, at Community Hospital weighing 6 lbs. 11 oz. and was 191/2 inches long. Parents are Bryan and Page Hyler. Grandparents are Linda D. Wescott and William N. Hyler.

We would like to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Gregory Hardee for his dedication and expertise in safely bringing Alayna into the world. We would also like to thank Dr. Lynn Keene, Sandy, Linda, Sherry, Leslie, Donna, the Tokos nurses, Paula Shepherd and L & D nurses Misty and Stephanie. Thanks to family and friends for all their support and prayer.

Nichols birth

Jimmy & Katrina Nichol s proudly announce the birth of their precious baby daughter, Megan Hope Nichols. She was born at Community Hospital on March 21, 1996 at 6:44 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 123/4 oz. and was 20 inches long. She has three sisters: Tonia, Jamee, & Haley. Grandparents are Wilson & Barbara Camper, James Ray Nichols, Sr. & Nina Nichols. Great grandparents are Earl & Melva Carr, Gordon & Sarah Camper, Virginia Robertson & Carlesta Nichols. A special thanks to Dr. Hardee and the nurses at Community Hospital and to God for our precious daughter.

Welch birth

John and Debbie Welch and big sister Hannah Elizabeth of Roanoke, proudly announce the birth of John Marshall Welch who was born on March 26, 1996 at 4:58 p.m. in Community Hospital. Marshall weighed 8 lbs. 21/4 oz. and was 211/2 inches long. Paternal grandparents are Lena Welch, and Floyd and Jessie Welch of Roanoke. Maternal grandparents are Horace and Edith Higdon of Arlington.

A very special thank you to Dr. Gregory Hardee and the wonderful nursing staff, especially Kim 1 and Kim 2 for the excellent support and care. John Marshall is truly God's precious gift of love.
