Atkins, Esq. and Henry Jackson. Mourning his passing are nieces, Betty J. Wilson, Julia M. Stuart, Ann L. Jones, Mary C. Lott, Lois J. Atkins and Brenda L. Lockley; nephews, Charles Atkins Jones, William T. Atkins, Jr., Robert M. Atkins, George E. Atkins; grandnieces, Saundra L. BLEVINS, Annie Mae Marsh, 91, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 1996, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Walter Blevins Sr.; a son, Roy A. Blevins; three grandchildren. She is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Nora Blevins, Shawsville, Eli Jr. and Clara Blevins, Jerry and Barbara Blevins, Jimmy and Joyce Blevins, Gail and Wanza Blevins, all of Salem; four daughters and sons-in-law, V. Mae (Susie) Blevins, Hazel and Howard Altizer, Helen and Marshall Graves, all of Salem, Ella and J. C. Trail, Roanoke; a daughter-in-law, Wanda Blevins, Salem; one brother, Grover Marsh, Jefferson, N.C.; two sisters, Lula Marsh and Ella Marsh, both of Jefferson, N.C.; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren. COOPER, Annie Dee, 77, of Martinsville, passed away Monday, April 22, 1996. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley G. Cooper; and son, Thomas Gene Cooper. Surviving are four sons and one daughter-in-law, Dean and Linda Cooper, Charles Cooper, Mac Cooper, David Cooper, all of Snow Creek; one daughter, Barbara Ann Cooper of Bassett. FAUCHER, Thomas Frederick Jr., (``Fred''), 34, of Vinton, passed away Sunday, April 21, 1996. He was born December 9, 1961, in Ly nchburg, a son of Thomas Frederick Faucher Sr. and Martha Faucher of Bedford. He was employed by Safety Kleen and was a member of the Bedford Moose Lodge #1897. In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by a sister, Laura Jen Faucher, Walnut Cove, N.C.; two brothers, Jay G. Faucher, Isleton, Calif., Robert F. Faucher, U. S. Army; two daughters, Amanda Marie and Jennifer Lynn, Fairfield, Calif.; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Jennie Johnson, Bedford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Friday, April 26, 1996, at 10 a.m. from the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, by Father Jim Begley. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. There is no visitation at the funeral home. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the church, and request that in lieu of flowers, donations be be made to the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. GREGORY, James Lyle, Sr., (``Buddy""), 72, of Coleman Falls, passed away Monday, April 22, 1996, at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Ida G. Gregory. He was the son of the late Albert Paul Gregory and the late Rosa McCool Gregory. He was an electrician, retired from Owens-Illinois, a U. S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of American Legion Post #217 and Sedalia Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil Floyd Gregory, Earl Clifford Gregory and Richard Kenneth Gregory and two sisters, Phyllis G. Jacobs and Gladys G. Haas. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, James Lyle Gregory, Jr. of Coleman Falls; two sisters, Frances G. Trinkle of New Hampshire and Doris G. Day of Lynchburg; and several nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Big Island Cemetery by the Rev. Mike Jones and the Rev. Jack Miller, with military honors by American Legion Post #16. The family will assemble for viewing at Diuguid Rivermont Chapel at 7 p.m. Wednesday. LAWSON, Lillian Gertrude Wright, 93, of Route 5, Wytheville, died Tuesday, April 23, 1996, in the Malin Health Care Center. She was born in Wythe County, the daughter of the late James William and Sarah Ellen Morris Wright, and was preceded in death by her husband, James Clayton Lawson; two sisters, and three brothers. She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Mamie Mae Wright Hall of Wytheville, Mrs. Helen Nancy Cartwright of Pulaski, Mrs. Hazel L. Lawson of Max Meadows and Mrs. Mary Virginia Corder of Baltimore, Md.; two brothers, Glenn A. Wright of Max Meadows and William Bert Wright of Wytheville, and a special niece, Doris Newman of Wytheville. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 1996, at the Barnett Funeral Home Chapel in Wytheville, with the Rev. Robert Hudler officiating. Interment will follow in the Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Barnett Funeral Home.
