Joe Powers, Montgomery County planner and Rudy Rash, Christianburg planner, and a representative from the New River Valley District Planning Commission will address questions from concerned citizens about land use planning in a forum titled "A Snapshot Of Montgomery County and Its Towns: Concerns and Options for Land Use Planning."
The forum is tonight from 7-8:30 at the Morning Glory Cafe on Cambria Street in Christiansburg.
The panel will address questions like "How can the public participate in land use decision making, both on a case-by-case basis and comprehensive long range planning?"
The forum is sponsored by the Town County Citizen Partnership, an action-oriented association of people, neighborhoods and communities working together with local government, businesses and non-profit organizations to improve community quality of life.
