          place, a worker secures it with bolts, adding another to what seems 
          to be an endless maze of steel. The structure is the new First 
          National Bank Center being built near the Marketplace in 
          Christiansburg. Earlier Wednesday, bank officials, architects and 
          builders signed a steel beam before it was hoisted to the highest 
          spot in the building in a "topping-off" ceremony. Opening for the 
          new facility is scheduled for January. color.
