Sean Penn and Robin Wright married this weekend at a closely guarded ceremony in Santa Monica, Calif., the New York Post reported Sunday.
Penn, 35, and Wright, 29, met eight years ago and have had a stormy relationship that produced daughter Dylan Frances, 5, and son Hopper, 2.
The location of Saturday's outdoor wedding, a private home, was a secret even for the 40 invited relatives and friends that included Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty, Tim Hutton and Marlon Brando, the Post reported.
Penn, Oscar-nominated for ``Dead Man Walking,'' was married to Madonna in 1985. They divorced in 1989.
Wright has starred in ``Forrest Gump,'' ``Toys,'' and ``The Crossing Guard,'' directed by Penn. Her latest film is the upcoming ``Moll Flanders.''
TV star Lorenzo Lamas of ``Renegade'' also married Saturday, to model Shauna Sand at the Rockland County, N.Y., home of Lamas' mother, Arlene Dahl.
Lamas, the son legendary Hollywood actor Fernando Lamas, was attended by ``Renegade'' co-star Branscombe Richmond as best man.
