BUCHANAN ELEMENTARY NEEDS AUCTION ITEMS

The Buchanan Elementary School PTA is accepting donations for an auction to help pay for a new playground at the school.

The May 11 auction begins at 10 a.m. at the school.

The PTA needs $23,000 to re-equip the school's playground. Though it's at the school, the playground will be open to the whole town, said Teresa Beard, one of the auction's organizers. For more information or to make a donation, call Beard at 254-1211.
