Angle-Dougherty

Theresa Gay Angle and Kevin Dougherty are engaged and planning to be married on June 29, 1996, in Eagle Rock, Va. Theresa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Blane Angle of Eagle Rock, Va. She graduated from James River High School and attended Dabney Lancaster College. She is employed by Optical Cable Corporation. Kevin's parents are both deceased. He graduated from Shenandoah Valley Academy and attended Hawaii Pacific University. He is employed by Optical Cable Corporation

Arbogast-Burton

Angela Marie Arbogast and David Franklin Burton have announced their engagement and are planning to be married on June 29, 1996. She is the daughter of Robert Arbogast of Vinton and Nancey Hustead of Roanoke. David is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Burton of Vinton.

Bannwart-Shelton

Jaime Alayne Bannwart and Donald Owen Shelton, Jr. are engaged and planning to be married in July 1996 in Salem, Va.

She is a daughter of Col. and Mrs. James L. Bannwart of Manassas, Va. She is a graduate of Robinson High School in Fairfax, Va., and a 1992 graduate of Roanoke College. She is employed by Brandon Oaks Retirement Community.

He is a son of Col. and Mrs. Donald J. Bean of Salem, Va. He is a graduate of Salem High School, and is employed by Heat Products Sales, Inc.

Fink-Thornhill

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry L. Fink of Fincastle are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Lynn, to Ricky Allen Thornhill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rick A. Thornhill of Roanoke. A June, 1996 wedding is planned.

Hagan-Lesher

Jean Cameron Hagan and Kristian Blair Lesher are engaged and planning to be married November 16, 1996, in Roanoke, Va. Jean is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Campbell Hagan of Roanoke, Va. Kristian is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Ryan Lesher of Richmond, Va.

Martin-Hollander

Miss Robyn Diane Martin and Mr. Dwayne Hollander are engaged and planning to be married on September 7, 1996, in Roanoke. Robyn is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary W. Martin of Boones Mill, Va. She graduated from Franklin County High School and attends Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by Salem Creek. Dwayne is the son of Mr. Robert H. Hollander of Goodview, Va., and Ms. Sue Hollander of Lincoln Park, Michigan. He graduated from William Byrd High School and served in the U. S. Navy. He currently attends Virginia Western Community College and is employed by the Veterans Administration.

Meador-Banks

Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Meador announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Lynn, to Mr. Joe Patrick Banks, son of Mr. Joseph P. Banks of North Carolina and Ms. Wanda Ratcliffe of Roanoke. The two will be married on September 7, 1996 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God.

Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Frank Nielsen of Pensacola, Fl. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dianna Sue to Daryl Wayne Songer, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Harvey Songer of Catawba, Va. Ms. Nielsen is a 1991 graduate of Galilee Christian School, Pensacola, Fl,. and a 1993 graduate of Georgestone Vocational School. Mr. Songer is a 1989 graduate of Lord Botetourt High School, Daleville, Va. He is currently enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter at Hurlburt Fld., Fl. The wedding is planned for June 22, 1996 at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church, Pensacola, Fl. The couple plan to reside in Catawba after June 1997.

Parrish-Roche

Erica Parrish and John ``Chip'' Ro che, Jr. are engaged and planning to be married March 29, 1997 in Roanoke. She is the daughter of Mrs. Lou Ramsey of Scottsdale, Arizona, and the late Mr. Earl Parrish, and the stepdaughter of Mr. Calvin Ramsey. She graduated from Glenvar High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. She is employed by Bank America Housing Services. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.. John Roche, Sr. of Roanoke. He graduated from Cave Spring High School and Roanoke College. He is employed by Bank America Housing Services

Saunders-Terry

Paul F. Terry and Sue E. Saunders are engaged and plan to be married on May 11, 1996. He is the son of Pauline Terry of Clifton Forge, Va. She is the daughter of Hattie Mays of Roanoke. The newlyweds will reside in Roanoke, following a wedding trip to Tennessee.

Slusser-Rochelle

Joyce & Larry Slusser of Blacksburg are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Elaine, to Eric David Rochelle, son of Linda and Peter Rochelle of Lake Hopatcong, N.J. Amy is a student at Virginia Tech and Eric is the owner/operator of Rochelle Homes. An October 5, 1996 wedding is planned.|

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin L. Underwood of Roanoke announce the engagement of their daughter, Belinda Lori Underwood, to Thomas William Scott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Scott of Forest.

Mr. Scott is a graduate of Jefferson Forest High School. He is employed with Thomas E. Scott, Inc. where he is Vice-President. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Albert W. Smith of Knoxville, Tenn., and Mrs. Evelyn K. Scott and the late Lt. Col. William J. Scott of Kingsport, Tenn.

The wedding is planned for June 22, 1996 at Rainbow Forest Baptist Church.

Westmoreland-Miller

Tara Westmoreland and Brian Miller are engaged and planning to be married on May 25, 1996 in Bristol, Va. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.. Charles Westmoreland of Bristol. She graduated from Radford University on May 4th. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Miller of Roanoke, Va. He graduated from Radford University in 1995. He is employed by Three Springs of North Carolina.
