A free workshop on Assistive technology for children and adolescents will be held Thursday, May 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the New River Valley Mall Community Room in Christiansburg.
The workshop will provide people with disabilities, families, educators and service providers with the most current information and resources on assistive aids and devices and the laws that support assistive technology for all disabilities.
The free seminar is co-sponsored by the Virginia Assistive Technology System and teh Department of Rights of Virginians with Disabilities.
