OPERA ROANOKE TO PRESENT `CANDIDE'

Opera Roanoke will present Leonard Bernstein's comic opera ``Candide'' on June 15,17, 19 and 21 at 8 p.m. in Roanoke College's Olin Theater.

Based on Voltaire's satire, ``Candide'' depicts the hair-raising adventures of a young man.

Guest director Ben Krywosz of New Music Theatre Ensemble is staging the production; Opera Roanoke's general director Craig Fields will conduct.
