Washington and Lee's Natalia Garcia lost in the quarterfinals of the singles draw at the NCAA Division III women's tennis championships in Kalamazoo, Mich., on Sunday to Jamie Levine of Skidmore, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1.
By making it to the quarterfinals, Garcia earns her second straight All-America honor. In the back draw of the singles bracket, the Generals' Ericka Shapard downed Lisa Broten of Gustavis Adolphus in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 and advances to the finals of the consolation round against Maria Sanchez of Smith College.
