MAN CHARGED IN EXPOSURE CASE

Town police arrested a 23-year-old Blacksburg man Tuesday on two charges of indecent exposure after he allegedly exposed himself to two children last month.

Lewis Dowdy Jr. remained in the Montgomery County Jail Tuesday afternoon on a $4,000 bond.

Police said they arrested Dowdy after an investigation that included interviews with a 7-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy. The children told police said they were playing in a common public area of Ridgewood Village Apartments on Fairfax Road April 29 when the incident occurred. The children did not know Dowdy, police said.
