VEHICLE VANDALISM PROBED

Police are looking for information about vandals who smashed windows in four vehicles late Monday or early Tuesday.

Lt. Gary Brumfield said vehicle owners discovered the broken passenger windows Tuesday. Nothing inside the vehicles had been tampered with or taken, he said.

The vehicles were parked at Quesenberry Street, New River Valley Mall and North Franklin Street.

One of the vehicles in the 2100 block of North Franklin was shot with a BB or pellet gun, Brumfield said.

Anyone with information about the vandalism should call police at 382-3131.
