The Bedford County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of an elderly man whose body was found in his yard Wednesday.
The body of 79-year-old Lorenzo Lee Jr. of Boonsboro was found by his son, who had just arrived from Maryland for a visit, Lt. John McCane said.
Lee had been dead two to three days and had a slight wound on his face, but there were no obvious signs of foul play, McCane said.
Investigators are waiting for autopsy results to determine if the case is a natural death or a homicide.
