Tamara Shelton Crowe and Larry Brent Carper are engaged and planning to be married August 24, 1996, in Roanoke. Tamara graduated from Lord Botetourt High School and from National Business College. She is employed by VA Medical Center. Larry graduated from New Castle High School and is employed by VAMC/Contract Services.

Cindy A. Grayson and David A. Kile are engaged and planning to be married on October 5, 1996 in Roanoke. She is the daughter of Mrs. Phyllis A. Grayson of Roanoke, and the late Mr. Vincent R. Grayson of Virginia Beach.
She is a 1992 graduate of Salem High School and a 1996 graduate of Radford University. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel L. Kile of Calhoun, Ga. He is a 1992 graduate of Northside High School, and a 1996 graduate of the University of Virginia.
Hulsey-Dixon
Marilyn Elmore Hulsey and James Mallory Dixon are engaged and planning to be married September 28, 1996 in Sewanee, Tennessee.
She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Cary Hulsey of Birmingham, Ala. She was graduated from the Altamont School and the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee. She is employed by WBMG-TV in Birmingham.
He is the son of Mrs. Anne Nimmo Dixon and Mr. Walter Moore Dixon of Roanoke. He was graduated from North Cross School and the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee. He is employed by First Alabama Bank, Birmingham.
Jahn-Anderson
Dr. and Mrs. Harvey Jahn of Blacksburg, Va. announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Erin Melissa Jahn of Radford, Va., to Mr. William Edward Anderson, IV of Radford, Va., son of Mr. and Mrs. Anderson of Richmond, Va.
Mr. Anderson is a 1995 graduate of Virginia Tech and is employed as a manufacturing engineer at Kollmorgan Industrial Drives in Radford, Va.
Miss Jahn is also a 1995 graduate of Virginia Tech and is employed as a Writing-To-Read teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools.
A July wedding is planned in Blacksburg, Va.
Korb-Read
Emily, Allison and Evan Korb of Centreville, Va., are pleased to announce the engagement of their mother, Catherine Sublett Korb, to Ron Stuart Read, both of Centreville.
Ms. Korb is a daughter of Catherine C. Sublett of Vinton, and James I. Sublett of Chesapeake, Va. She is a graduate of William Byrd High School and George Mason University and is currently employed by the law firm of Reilly & Goodwin, P.C.
Mr. Read is a son of Eileen Read and the late John Stuart Read of Bamera, South Australia. He is a former officer of the Royal Australian Navy with twelve years of military service that includes a tour of duty in Vietnam. He is currently the general manager of FaxWorld Corporation in Falls Church, Va. Mr. Read's daughter, Toni Read Morabito, resides in Australia with her husband, Frank.
