The ceremony was performed by Rev. Paul St.Clair, father of the bride, and Mr. Ed Nicholson. A reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
The maid of honor was Michelle St.Clair, sister of the bride. The best man was Clint Jones, brother of the groom.
The bride is also the daughter of Brenda St.Clair of Roanoke. The bride and groom are both graduates of Craig County High School. The bride is also a graduate of Roanoke College and is employed by Craig County Public Schools.
The groom is the son of Barry and Allie Jones of New Castle. He is employed by Friendship Manor.
After their honeymoon trip, the couple will reside in New Castle.

The marriage of Miss Angela Carol Lipscomb of Richmond, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Linwood Augustus Lipscomb of Ashland, to Richard Alan LePeter of Richmond, son of Dr. and Mrs. Alan Joseph LePeter of Roanoke, took place April 13 at Reveille United Methodist Church. The Rev. Steven R. Jones officiated.
Mrs. Rhonda Lipscomb Toussaint was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Karen Lipscomb Guynes, Laura Hawkins Condon and Renee Morris Fultz.

Linkous-Colaw
The marriage of Karen Michelle Colaw of Richmond to George Robert Linkous of Richmond took place May 18, 1996 at Northminster Baptist Church in Richmond. The Reverend Dr. Samuel F. Williams, Jr., pastor, officiated.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of natural silk shantung with a full train, a pearl-edged deep scooped neckline with a bodice embroidered with pearls and French satin sequins, and a fingertip veil of French illusion. She carried an antique hand embroidered handkerchief made in old China and a cascade of roses, dendrobium orchids, stephanotis, lilies of the val ley and ivy.
Miss Donna Lyn Howell of Richmond, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Vicki Omer Blasiole of Troutville, and Miss Carolyn Elizabeth Rainey of Charlottesville. Miss Mary Olivia Elkins was flower girl.
Mr. Joseph Blasiole, Jr. of Troutville, was best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Gene Norwood Linkous of Roanoke, brother of the groom, and Mr. Mark Alan Plymale of Richmond. Mr. Thomas Herbert Harper and Mr. David Bruce Harrell, both of Richmond, served as ushers.
Rev. E. Barry Green, minister of music at the Bonsack Baptist Church in Roanoke, was soloist.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon E. Colaw of Richmond. She is a graduate of Mary Baldwin College and is an assistant vice president with NationsBank.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin L. Linkous, Sr. of Roanoke. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia and of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. He is a senior commercial underwriter at the Hanover Insurance Company.
A reception was held at the Downtown Club. The couple will live in Richmond.
Meyer-Boggess
Shelley Boggess, the daughter of Joan S. Boggess of Roanoke, Va., and Dr. H. Preston Boggess of Blacksburg, Va., was married yesterday to Julien H. Meyer III, son of Marlene P. Meyer of Baltimore, Md., and Dr. Julien H. Meyer, Jr., of Roanoke, Va. The Reverend George Wyer of Charlottesville, Va., performed the ceremony at Keswick Hall in Keswick, Va.
The bride, 26, is a graduate of Salem College in Winston-Salem, N. C. She is employed by Julius Lowy Frame and Restoring Company, Inc., in New York, N. Y. Her father is a professor of clinical pediatrics at University of Virginia's School of Medicine.
The bridegroom, 28, is a senior vice president with United Acquisition Company, a principal investment firm in New York, N. Y. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Meyer's father is an obstetrician and gynecologist in Roanoke, Va. His mo ther owns a catering and event planning company in Baltimore, Md.
Alison Lape of Roanoke, Va., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Thea Campbell and Marijke Strouse of Charlotte, N. C. Laura and Margaret Meagher of Roanoke were the flower girls.
Stephen Howard of Baltimore, Md., served as the best man. The ushers were Michael Carminati of Montclair, N. J., Kevin Chin of Weehawken, N. J., James Israel of New Canaan, Conn., Kenneth Steinberg of New York, N. Y., and Marshall Walker of Oslo, Norway.

Katharine Raye Foster and James Kahle Morgan, Jr. were married April 20, 1996 in St. Lukes Episcopal in San Antonio, Texas, with the Rev. Joseph DiRaddo officiating. The reception was held in San Antonio Country Club.

The newlyweds will live in Roanoke, after their wedding trip to California and Napa Valley.
Neal-Brown
Melissa Marie Brown and H. Scott Neal were married on Saturday, May 18, 1996 on the patio of the Waterfront Country Club at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. The Reverend Terry Sharpe of Kilmarnock, Virginia, officiated the ceremony. The reception followed immediately.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon P. Harris o f Roanoke and the late Mr. Jeremy G. Brown. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Yancey of Annandale, Virginia. She is a graduate of Cave Spring High School and Virginia Tech.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Neal of Roanoke and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Neal of Kilmarnock, Virginia. He is a graduate of Lancaster High School and Radford University and is employed with New River Valley Community Service Board in Radford.
The bride was escorted by her stepfather, Mr. Leon P. Harris, and given in marriage by her parents. The bride wore an ivory dupioni silk gown with a chapel length train. The sleeves and bodice were accented with re-embroidered beaded Alencon lace and pearls. Scroll work soutache and pearls outlined the scoop neckline, short sleeves, and hemline of the gown and train. The cathedral length veil of ivory tulle was attached to a headband of matching Alencon lace and pearls. She carried a cascade of bridal white and champagne roses, stephanotis, white lilies, and ivy.
Ms. Jane Wall of Lexington, North Carolina, long time friend, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Ms. Elizabeth Turpin of Campobello, South Carolina, Courtney Hyde of Knoxville, Tennessee, Ada Bowers of South Hill, Virginia, and Beth Anne Neal of Roanoke.
Mr. Scott Waner of Virginia Beach, served as best man. Groomsmen were Mr. David Urbik of Vienna, Virginia, Mr. Eric Schwartz of Radford, Virginia, Christopher Blackwell of Richmond, Virginia, and Jonathan Brown of Middletown, Virginia.
After their honeymoon trip to Scottsdale, Arizona, the newlyweds will reside in Radford until moving to Richmond, Virginia in June.

David Cox officiating. The reception was held at the Virginia Military Institute's Moody Hall. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents at the Natural Bridge Resort.
The maid of honor was Sarah Torian of Oxford, Miss. The bridesmaids were Shannon Polk, sister of the groom of Ogden, Utah, Amy Daulton of Charlotte, N. C., Karen Headley of Austin, Texas, Christie Young o f San Francisco, Calif., and Rachael Reeder Mai of Alexandria, Va.

The groom is the son of Col. (Ret) and Mrs. Robert C. Polk of O'Fallon, Ill. He is a graduate of O'Fallon Township High School, O'Fallon, Ill., and Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va. The groom is a Lieutenant in the U. S. Air Force stationed at Brooks AFB, Texas, and will complete his MBA from St. Mary's University in August 1996.
The newlyweds will reside in San Antonio, Texas, after a honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

Look who got hitched!! Among family and friends in a sea of cowboy hats and boots, Elizabeth Rene Nunley and Christopher Lee Sheppard were united in marriage on May 18, 1996 at six o'clock in the evening at Park United Methodist Church in Christiansburg, with the Rev. Mark Christian officiating.
After the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Sheppard rode in a wagon pulled by horses to the reception which was held at the VFW Hall also in Christiansburg, where everyone had a foot stompin' good time!
The maid of honor was Sonja Bentley, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Brandy Howard, Amy Sarver, and Tammi Bentley, all friends of the bride. Flowergirls were Leslie Sheppard, daughter of the groom, and Elizabeth Chitwood, cousin of the bride.
The best man was Lance Sheppard, son of the groom. The groomsmen were Jeff Sheppard, Lynn Sheppard, both brothers of the groom, and Donald King, friend of the groom. The bride wore a ballet length lace sweetheart dress decorated with beads and sequins around its sweetheart neckline. The back had five pearl buttons down to its diamond cut middle with a short zipper to the drop waist. Her hat was decorated with lace and sequins and had a shoulder length veil.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. David W. Nunley and Mrs. Patricia B. Whitaker, both of Christiansburg.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin T. Sheppard, also of Christiansburg. The newlyweds will live in Christiansburg after a wedding trip to Tennessee.

The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Dorothy McCray and the late John H. McCray, both of Roanoke, and the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Spinner and the late Mr. Eugene Spinner. She is a 1980 graduate of William Fleming High School and a 1983 graduate of National Business College.
The groom, son of Mr. & Mrs. Johnnie Shifflett of Elkton, is a 1976 graduate of Elkton High School. Both are employed with AMP Inc. of Roanoke. The newlyweds will continue to make their home in Roanoke County following a Western Caribbean cruise.
