People who live, work or own businesses near Roanoke's 10th Street Northwest are invited to a community planning meeting at 7 p.m. tonight in the gymnasium at Lincoln Terrace Elementary School, 1802 Liberty Road N.W.
The city's Office of Planning and Community Development is hosting community meetings because residents raised objections to plans to widen the street and noted the city's failure to install a traffic light at the Hunt Avenue intersection. Tonight's meeting is the first in the series.
