NAMES & CHANGES

Management changes made at Salem plant

JERRY DOGGETT has been named plant manager at Sewell Products Inc., a Salem manufacturer of generic household products. He succeeds LYLE PAULEY, who held the position for 42 years. Pauley will be special assistant to the president of the Auburndale, Fla.-based company, with additional duties as director of purchasing.

PAUL VAUGHN will become production manager, overseeing all production and packaging operations.

CECIL KELLEY has been named vice president of finance and secretary of the corporation.

WALTER STOUT has been appointed special sales consultant for the company.

AND ENGINEERS|

JAMIE S. GAABO, DAVID M. HENDERSON, DAVID R. JONES JR. and MARY JANE McMILLEN have been promoted to associates at Hayes, Seay, Mattern & Mattern, architects, engineers and planners based in Roanoke. Gaabo, a licensed interior designer, has been with the firm since 1989. Henderson joined HSMM in 1986 and is head of the environmental department in the firm's Roanoke office. Jones, a registered architect, joined HSMM in 1985. McMillen joined the company in 1988 as a structural engineer. HSMM has 10 offices in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States.

Thompson + Litton, an engineering, architectural and planning firm based in Tazewell, has added MILTON LIETZKE, JOHN PONISH and TERRANCE WILLIAMS to the firm's professional staff. Lietzke is an engineering project manager in the company's Bristol office, Ponish is a project manager for the Wise office and Williams has been named director of design of the firm's architectural practice.

KAREN J. VINSKI has joined Wheat First Butcher Singer as a financial consultant in the investment firm's Galax office. Vinski, who has 17 years of securities experience, has spent the past 10 years with Paine Webber.

W. SCOTT BEEBE has been named director of buildings and grounds at Washington and Lee University in Lexington, where he has been employed since 1975. He formerly was assistant director of buildings and grounds and director of special projects at the university. He also has worked there as director of W&L's Skylark Farm, daily operation of maintenance and repair of grounds and buildings and design and repair of campus heating, cooling and electrical systems.

ENVIRONMENTAL

ALLAN P. WULFF has joined the Roanoke office of the Richmond-based environmental remediation firm, Earth Tech, as division manager. Wulff, formerly with Hurt and Proffitt Inc., has more than 20 years of experience in civil and geological engineering.

LAW|

RANDY V. CARGILL has joined the Roanoke law firm of Magee, Foster, Goldstein & Sayers. Cargill, a litigation specialist, formerly practiced with Woods, Rogers & Hazlegrove of Roanoke. He has more than 11 years of trial and appellate experience in both federal and state courts.

KEVIN P. ODDO, E. DALE BURRUS, POWELL M. LEITCH III, DAVID E. PERRY, TODD A. LEESON, ELEANOR A. LASKY, C. SHIREEN KIRK and PAMELA S. FINN have joined Flippin, Densmore, Morse, Rutherford & Jessee, a Roanoke law firm. Oddo, Burrus, Leitch, Leeson and Lasky previously practiced with Woods, Rogers & Hazlegrove of Roanoke; Perry and Kirk were with Glenn, Flippin, Feldmann & Darby; and Finn formerly practiced in Richmond.
