Anderson-Truslow

Rachel Lynn Anderson and David Keith Truslow are engaged and planning to be married on June 22, 1996 in Lexington, Virginia. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Anderson of Roanoke. She graduated from Cave Spring High School and James Madison University and is employed by Roanoke County Schools. He is the son of Ms. Barbara Ann Gilley of Alexandria, Virginia. He graduated from T.C. Williams High School and Virginia Military Institute and is planning to seek a master's in journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Brand-Mateja

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cabell Brand of Salem, Va. are pleased to announce the en gagement of their daughter, Caroline Anthony, to Lt. Brian Patrick Mateja of Louisville, Ky.

Lt. Mateja is the son of Mrs. Carolyn Medley and the late Major Alan P. Mateja.

She is a graduate of Centre College in Danville, Ky. and is attending nursing school at the University of Virginia. He is also a graduate of Centre College and is a Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps.

An August 3rd wedding is planned in Salem

Bryson-Walker

Jessica Denise Bryson and Daniel Lee Walker, both of Salem, are engaged and planning to be married in December. She is the daughter of Richard and Betty Bryson of Salem. He is the son of Jerry and Alma Walker of Salem.

McMurray-Dresser

Mr. and Mrs. Julian F. McMurray of Newport, Virginia are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Penny Anne McMurray, to Mr. Kevin John Dresser, son of Mrs. Laura Dresser Mattoon of Humboldt, Iowa, and Mr. Harold ``Skip'' Dresser of Iowa City, Iowa. The wedding is planned for July 6, 1996. Miss McMurray is a graduate of the School of Nursing at Radford University. Mr. Dresser is a graduate of the University of Iowa. He is presently associated with Primerica Financial Services.

Wheless-Altieri

Stacy and Louise Hall of Raleigh, North Carolina and Dwight and Janice Wheless of Manteo, North Carolina announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Shelle Elizabeth Wheless, of Raleigh to Captain Jayson Allyn Altieri, U.S. Army of Fort Kobbe, Republic of Panama, son of Anthony and Carolyn Altieri of Fincastle.|

The wedding is planned for June 8 at eight o'clock in the evening at Saint Andrews-by-the-Sea in Nags Head, North Carolina.|

Williams-Simpson

Nicolette Marie Williams and Justin David Simpson are engaged and planning to be married on October 5, 1996, in Roanoke. Nicolette is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nickolas C. W illiams of Roanoke. She attends Roanoke College. Justin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Simpson of Roanoke. He attends Roanoke College. The wedding will take place at St. Andrews Catholic Church on Jefferson St.

Fauber-McGinn

Miss Mary Reed Fauber and Mr. Ronald Matthew McGinn are engaged and planning to be married in June 1996 in Roanoke. She is a daughter of Mary Conley Fauber and Jospeh Everette Fauber, III, both of Forest, Va. She was graduated from Jefferson Forest High School in Forest, Va. and from the University of Virginia with a BA in French and a BA in Foreign Affairs. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Anthony McGinn of Charlottesville, Va. He was graduated from Saint Anne's Belfield School in Charlotteville, Va. and from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Economics. He is employed by GE FANUC in Charlottesville, Va.
