The Roanoke City Manager's Task Force on Teen Pregnancy Prevention plans a town meeting Thursday to present the results of its two-year study of the issue.
Proposals for coping with teen pregnancy will be presented. Residents will be able to make comments and ask questions about the 26-point strategy.
"We want to see who would like to help work on certain recommendations, too, and give them places to call to work with certain groups," said Glenn Radcliffe, Roanoke's director of human development.
"This is not just a city government issue or single-agency issue. This is the whole community's, and everybody needs to be involved in working through solutions."
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the Roanoke Civic Center Exhibit Hall. For more information, call Radcliffe at 981-2302.
