The visitors guide to Pulaski County is being updated by the county Chamber of Commerce, with space available for advertisers on a first-come first-served basis.
"The guide will include listings of area accommodations, campgrounds, restaurants, entertainment, shopping information along with services and points of interest," said Lisa Tucker, chamber membership and communications manager. "Approximately 10,000 copies of this brochure will be printed."
The printing costs will be covered by selling advertising in the brochure. Details are available by calling the chamber at 980-1991.
"By purchasing an ad," Tucker said, "you will not only support the printing and distribution of the guide, but the remaining proceeds from the sale of ads will be used for community and economic development projects sponsored by the chamber."
The guide will be displayed by local county governments, mailed to people inquiring about the county, used to recruit business and industry, and the chamber will pay the fees to have it available at Virginia Interstate Tourism Centers.
