Kellwood, a St. Louis-based apparel, camping goods and home textiles company, is parent of Halmode Apparel Co. of Roanoke. Included in the results for last year and the loss for the fourth quarter of last year was a $14 million, or $0.65 per share, charge for closing Smart Shirts' plant in Saipan. Adjusting for this facilities realignment charge, net earnings for last year were $25.1 million, or $1.17 per share.
