The NASCAR Craftsman Truck series will make its second stop at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 21.
Tickets for the Hanes 250 Truck race will go on sale Monday and cost $25. Tickets for children ages 6-12 are $5.
The race will part of the Hanes 250/500 weekend that also includes the annual Hanes 500 Winston Cup race on Sunday, Sept. 22. Plenty of tower seats also are available for the Hanes 500.

Qualifying for the Winston Cup and Truck Series will be Friday, Sept. 20 beginning at 3 p.m. The Truck Series will qualify immediately after the Winston Cup cars. The Hanes 250 starts at 2 p.m. on Sept. 21, and the Hanes 500 begins at 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 22.
In other Martinsville Speedway news, the track announced that its Web site now can be found at www.martinsvillespeedway.com on the World Wide Web. Martinsville went on-line in February and recently changed the address to the new, easy to remember, domain name. The site is updated regularly by the speedway's public relations department and e-mail can be sent to sshepparneocomm.net.
Roanoke College men's lacrosse player Chris Davin, the player of the year in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, has been named first-team All-American by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
Washington and Lee junior Ande Jenkins was named third-team All-American and three of his teammates received honorable mention - attackman Russell Croft, midfielder Adam Butterworth and defenseman Lee Counselman.
Roanoke College attackman Billy Metz and goalie Chris Gordon also received honorable mention.
Davin, the Maroons' fifth first-team All-American in the 1990s, is the first Roanoke College defenseman to make first-team All-American as a junior since John Pirro in 1976.
The Roanoke Rush football team will play an exhibition game July 27 at Christiansburg High School.
Proceeds will benefit the Knowles Family Fund, with all paid admissions donated to that effort. An opponent has yet to be determined.
``We have always said we want to be a part of all the communities in western Virginia, and this is an opportunity for us to do that,'' said team owner Nick Rush.
The team also announced that season tickets are available, costing $65 for 10 games.
Tryouts will be held today at Shawsville High School, June 8 at Martinsville High School and June 15 at Washington Park in Roanoke. All tryouts begin at 9 a.m. There is a $25 registration fee and participants should bring tennis shoes, cleats and shorts.
