An 18-year-old Southwest Roanoke man reported that he was robbed by three armed men while he drove to work Monday night. He was not injured.
Police gave this account: About 11:30 p.m., Larry Austin Rowe was stopped at the traffic light at 10th Street and Loudon Avenue Northwest when three men carrying semiautomatic handguns approached his car. One man held a gun at Rowe while the two others got into the back seat of his car. One of the men took Rowe's wallet. The three men then fled west on Loudon Avenue.
Rowe drove to work and called police. No arrest has been made.
