ASC Inc., a supplier of parts for Volvo-GM Heavy Truck Corp., will construct a 500,000-square-foot building in the Dublin Industrial Park and expects to double its work force from 30 to at least 60 people.
Ground will be broken to start construction Thursday.
The Michigan-based company has rented about 25,000 square feet from the town in a former terminal building in the park, formerly the site of Burlington Industries and acquired by the town in two transactions in recent years.
ASC provides trim work and components for truck cabs for the nearby Volvo plant.
The new building will be constructed on a seven-acre site owned by the town. H.S. Williams Co. of Marion is the developer and builder.
The company has also recently met certification requirements for ISO-9000 international standards of production, which will be recognized Thursday.
