The class is outspoken, Osborne said, and "we like to speak our minds."

Like the time in the 10th grade when several students dyed their hair orange, purple, and various other rainbow shades. They thought they had a right to do it, and said so when the television news came to school to record the ... event.

"We probably would have gotten away with a lot more if we could have," she said.

Osborne said her class is made up of individuals and most everyone gets along. "You kind of hop around from person to person."

Ten years from now, at their reunion, they'll probably talk about what they did when they weren't in school - "all the weekend stuff."

Osborne, who will head to Virginia Tech in the fall, said her class is looking toward graduation day, beach week at Myrtle Beach, and beyond.

"We've got a lot of fond memories, but we're ready to go," she said.
