ART CLASSES PLANNED IN PULASKI

Art classes for children from kindergarten to third grade and evening classes for ages 16 and over will be offered in July by the Fine Arts Center for the New River Valley at its annex at 44 Fourth St.

The classes will be taught by Kate Santamaria, a graduate student at Radford University.

Classes for kindergartners and first-graders (ages 5-7) will be offered 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, starting July 2 (no classes July 4), and for second- and third-graders (ages 8-9) the same days from 12 noon to 2 p.m. The monthly cost is $60 per student.

Adult workshops will study batik, tie dye and paper-making from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Wednesday starting July 3. The cost is $30.
