Vehicle dealer board
WYTHEVILLE - The Motor Vehicle Dealer Board will conduct a districtwide meeting today to review the motor vehicle dealer advertising laws, rules and regulations that took effect in 1989.
The meeting will be at Wytheville Community College in Bland Auditorium from 9 a.m. to noon.

Friendly Garden Tour
CHRISTIANSBURG - A Friendly Garden Tour, sponsored by Montgomery County Friends of the Library, will be held July 13 and 14. Seven gardens in Blacksburg are featured. Tickets cost $12 and may be purchased at the Blacksburg and Christiansburg libraries or at each garden on the day of the tour. Gardens can be toured July 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 3 to 7 p.m. On July 14, tour hours will be from 2-7 p.m.
Proceeds will go to furnish and landscape the new Blacksburg Branch Library.
Rotary banquet
RADFORD - The Radford Rotary Club's annual banquet is July 2 at 6 p.m. in the Norwood Room on Norwood Street.
Thomas Todd, a Rotary district governor from District 7570 in Kingsport, Tenn., will speak and assist in installation of 1996-97 officers.
