CLEANUP EFFORT TO BENEFIT BATTLE AGAINST CANCER

Biological Monitoring will host a "Trashing Cancer" clean-up at the Montgomery County Parks and Recreation picnic area on Saturday, June 22 at 8 a.m.

The program is sponsored by St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and offers citizens across the country a way to make a difference in local communities by cleaning up parks, neighborhoods, abandoned areas, natural and recreational areas, rivers or streams.

Participants collect pledges for their cleanup efforts. Proceeds help children afflicted with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.

People interested in making donations or pledges can contact Valerie Rasnake, 953-2821 or mail a check made payable to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to Valerie Rasnake, c/o Biological Monitoring, Inc., P. O. Box 184, Blacksburg, Va. 24063.
