closed and planted over with trees and grass, according to National
Forest officials. A new entrance, across from Virginia 621, will
feature a parking lot at the trailhead for cyclists and horseback
riders. Another parking lot closer to the pond is also under
contruction, and will be off-limits to bikers and horse trailers.
The contruction area is restricted and those who wish to visit the
pond can reach it from Poverty Creek or Brush Mountain. color.
