Clint Peay scored on a 28-yard kick past goalkeeper Paul Evans as the U.S. Men's Olympic Soccer Team defeated South Africa 2-0 Monday night in a match delayed two hours by lightning.
Peay's shot into the left corner 16 minutes into the game marked his first goal in 44 appearances with the U.S. team. Claudio Reyna, a former UVa standout, accounted for the other U.S. score on a penalty kick.
