TRAFFIC BLOCKED ON INTERSTATE 81

Southbound traffic on Interstate 81 near Wytheville was blocked from 6:39 p.m. to late Saturday night due to what state police described as a poisonous-pellet spill from a tractor-trailer.

The spill occurred at the 70-mile marker.

Northbound traffic was not blocked.
