          Church, two renovated houses at 12 and 18 Gilmer Ave. N.E. held an 
          open house Sunday. They will sell for $60,000 and $58,000, 
          respectively. The historic homes were moved from Wells Avenue to 
          Gilmer Avenue in 1994. Both homes will be sold to low- to 
          moderate-income families. First Baptist Church is offering 
          supportive services to the families moving into the homes inclusive 
          of financial, social service, employment, education, medical and 
          business resources. Applications for the purchase of these homes are
          available at First Baptist Church or the Roanoke Redevelopment and 
          Housing Authority. color.
