CITY COUNCIL IN BEDFORD REORGANIZES

Bedford City Council re-elected Mike Shelton as mayor for a fifth term, and Larry Brookshier as vice mayor during its reorganization meeting Monday.

Shelton, who was elected to council in 1984, was first elected mayor in 1988.

Brookshier, vice mayor for the past two years, was elected to council in 1986.

Council also welcomed two new members, Dave Ballard, a retired city employee, and Robert Wandrei, a lawyer. They defeated Joanne Grahame and Ronnie Rice in the May election and will serve four-year terms.
