NOMINATIONS SOUGHT FOR BEAUTIFICATION AWARDS

The Townscape Committee is accepting nominations through July 12 for Blacksburg's 14th Annual Civic Beautification Awards.

Commercial and industrial businesses, single and multi-family residences, institutions and parking areas are eligible. The area must be located within the town limits and must be visible from the street or public walkways. Businesses, organizations or individuals may make nominations. Winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony on Sept. 19.

Nomination forms are available at the Planning and Engineering Department on the third floor of the Blacksburg Municipal Building at 300 S. Main Street.
