CITY ART SHOW

Forty-one artists from the Blue Ridge region will be represented in The Arts Council of the Blue Ridge's 17th Annual Roanoke City Art Show.

The exhibit will open with a reception and awards ceremony July19 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the first gallery of the Art Museum of Western Virginia, Center in the Square, Roanoke.

Neal Benezra, Director of Public Relations and Chief Curator, Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Smithsonian Institution, served as the juror for this year's show. He will present $1500 in awards.

The public is invited to visit the exhibit and cast a vote for the $100 People's Choice Award.
