Three men in the same family were shot, two of them fatally, at a party at a private residence, and a suspect was arrested and charged with murder, police said.
The two dead men - Willie Montrel Wiggins, 21, and Derek Wiggins, 17 - were found in the parking area outside the residence early Saturday. They were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A third man, Gregory Wiggins, 26, suffered a gunshot wound and was in critical condition at Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Police said Gregory Wiggins is Willie Wiggins' brother and Derek Wiggins was their cousin.
Police arrested 42-year-old Clyde L. Caffee of Virginia Beach and charged him with two counts of first-degree murder, malicious assault and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Caffee was being held without bond in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center.
A second suspect was questioned but later released. He was not charged.
The shootings stemmed from an ongoing dispute between Caffee and the victims, police said.
