Perspectives buffet
Perspectives is sponsoring a buffet dinner July 18 at 7 p.m. at the Liberty Station Restaurant, Bedford, for $10.
Perspectives is a social and discussion group for single, divorced, separated and widowed men and women.
Attendees may come alone or with a friend. Church affiliation is not required.

Old Northeast reunion
Former residents of Old Northeast Roanoke are invited to a reunion Aug. 30-Sept. 1.
Festivities begin Aug. 30 at 8 p.m. with a dinner dance at the Sheraton Inn, Roanoke. Admission is $25.
A picnic will be held Aug. 31 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in Lower Washington Park. Bring your lunch.
A church service, including a memorial service, will take place Sept. 1 at 11 a.m. in Roanoke's Central Baptist Church, 1502 Staunton Ave. N.W. The service will include worshippers from Pilgrim, Morning Star, Price Memorial and all other churches.
T-shirts with a logo of old Burrell Hospital and a poem on the back will be available if paid for in advance. Shirts with the Gilmer School logo may also be ordered.
