repairs damage caused by a break in a 12-inch water main that caused

both northbound lanes of Franklin Road Southwest to cave in near

McClanahan Street. The break damaged 800 to 1,000 square feet of

pavement, said Calvin Dame, Roanoke utilities line supervisor. While

the water main was expected to be repaired Monday night, it could be
