MOTORCYCLE CRASH KILLS ROANOKE MAN

A 38-year-old Roanoke man was killed Wednesday when a car struck his motorcycle on Virginia 811 in Bedford County.

Mark Allen Kemp was rounding a 90-degree curve about 1:44 p.m. when he met a car in his lane, state police said. The vehicles collided head-on. No information was available about the driver of the car or any passengers. |- Staff report
