Coy Gibbs' racing debut has been put on hold for two weeks.
Gibbs, son of former Washington Redskins coach and current NASCAR Winston Cup team owner Joe Gibbs, had planned to race Saturday night in the Late Model Stock feature at Franklin County Speedway. But after a practice session Thursday at the Callaway track, Coy Gibbs said his debut will be pushed back two weeks because of family commitments.
``This is a fun track, it's definitely where I want to start'' my career, Gibbs said. The 23-year-old added that he plans to race at FCS for at least two years before looking for a Winston Cup ride.
