CHRISTIANSBURG - Rosanna Gearheart is information systems manager and Rebecca Stanley is assistant vice president of loans at First National Bank.
Gearheart will be responsible for the the implementation of the bank's communication and networking systems at its new headquarters on Arbor Drive. She has a degree in computer science from New River Community College.
Stanley has worked in real estate for 17 years, with 10 years in mortgage lending. She has worked for First National Bank since 1986 and attended New River Community College.
Chamber leader finalist
BLACKSBURG - Harvey Shephard, executive director of the Greater Blacksburg Chamber of Commerce, was a recent finalist in the state Chamber of Commerce's Chamber Executive of the Year competition.
Shephard was noted for his impact on the local business community, his professionalism, and his organizational abilities, said Hugh Keogh, state chamber president.
