          final touches on series of piers Thursday for the Second Street 
          bridge that will cross the railroad between Salem Avenue and Loudon 
          Avenue Northwest. The bridge, along with a new section of Gainsboro 
          Road, is expected to be completed in fall of next year at cost of 
          $8.4 million.
