The College of Health Sciences: Associated with Carilion Health Systems, 920 S. Jefferson St., mailing address: P.O. Box 13186, Roanoke, 24031-3186, is nonprofit and offers two-year associate degree programs in nursing, respiratory care, emergency health sciences-paramedic, physical therapist assistant, occupational therapy assistant and health information technology (medical records) and sciences. Graduate courses offered by five institutions, including Virginia Tech, University of Virginia, Radford University, Old Dominion University, and Virginia Commonwealth University. Programs offered include: master of arts in counselor education (Tech); master of business administration (Tech and Radford); master of engineering (Tech, UVa, ODU, VCU); master of public administration (Tech); master of education in instruction (UVa); master of science in educational leadership (Radford); master of information science (UVa in cooperation with University of Tennessee) and master of criminal justice (Radford). University of Virginia Roanoke Center: Part of the university's Division of Continuing Education, the center serves more than 2,500 citizens from the Roanoke region annually.
