Back Creek Rural Village Civic League: Covers the area from Coleman Road to the foot of Bent Mountain. Meets second Monday of February, April, June, August, September and November at 7:30 p.m. at Back Creek Fire Station. Contact Gordon Saul, 989-0562.

Bonsack Area Residents' Coalition: Neighborhoods east of Roanoke city line to Botetourt County line along Alternate U.S. 460 to Read Mountain and south to Blue Ridge Mountains. Meets four times a year. Contact Mike Koon, 977-3021.

Boxley Hills Neighborhood Association: Covers the area west of Williamson Road, south of Dent Road, east of Airport Road and north of Nelms Lane. Contact Sarah Franklin, 366-4645.

Branderwood Recreation Association Inc.: Covers the Branderwood subdivision off Buck Mountain Road. Meets third Monday of the month, 5:30 p.m., F&W Management Corp., 2917 Penn Forest Blvd. S.W., building E. Contact Dave Bernitt, 774-7176.

Bridlewood Homeowners Association: Includes streets off Bridlewood Drive and Saddleridge Road Southwest. The group holds an annual meeting in November, special meetings as needed and board meetings on the first Monday of the month. Contact Mary Dawn Taggart, 776-1590.

Carriage Hills Homeowners Association: Includes streets in the Carriage Hills subdivision off Martin Creek Road near U.S. 221. Meetings held four times a year. Contact Mary Kerr, 774-0227.

Cherokee Hills Community Association: Includes Cherokee Hills Drive and the surrounding area in Glenvar. Meets quarterly at Glenvar Library. Contact Ben Powers, 380-2942.

Cloverdale Community Civic League: Includes the Botetourt County subdivisions of Apple Tree Village, Botetourt East, Botetourt South, Runaway Village, Rosamae Gardens, British Woods, Highland Manor and Hunters Green, and the community of Cloverdale. Meets fourth Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at Read Mountain Fire Station. Executive board meeting is the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m., same location. Contact J. Crystal Creek Homeowners Association and Civic League: Open to residents of Crystal Creek Drive and citizens concerned about issues in area. Meets September through June, less often in the summer. Contact Jack Smith, 774-6887.

Edgewood-Morwanda-Summit Hills Neighborhood Organization: Boundaries include the Salem city limits, Melrose Avenue, 35th Street, and the Salem Turnpike. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at Edgewood Christian Church. Contact Robin Murphy Kelso, 362-8579.

Fort Lewis Civic League: Includes West Main Street, Salem, to Roanoke River, Alleghany Drive, Butt Hollow Road, Texas Hollow Road and the accompanying area north of Interstate 81 in the Glenvar area of Roanoke County. Garden City Civic League: Covers area east of Mill Mountain from Welcome Valley and Yellow Mountain roads north to Riverland Road and east to Mount Pleasant Boulevard. Georgetown Park Civic Organization: Includes Georgetown Road and the surrounding streets off Colonial Avenue Southwest. Annual meeting is held in April; outings are held throughout year. Contact Marian Hurley, 772-1051.

Grayson Avenue Beautification Council: Represents residents of the 1000 to 1700 blocks of Grayson Avenue. Meets first Saturday of each month, except July, August and September, at 2 p.m. at Eureka Park Center, 1529 Carroll Ave. N.W. Contact Evelyn Pullen, 343-8144.

Greater Raleigh Court Civic League: Boundaries are Memorial Avenue, Roanoke Avenue, James Street, Mountain View Terrace, Center Hill Drive Southwest, Lakewood Drive Southwest, Edgewood Avenue, Brandon Avenue, the Westhampton neighborhood off Carlton Road, Grandin Road, Brandon Avenue, Brighton Road and Wasena Avenue. Northwest Neighborhood Improvement Council: Covers the area bounded by Fifth Street, Fairfax Avenue, 14th Street and Orange Avenue Northwest. Old Southwest Inc.: Covers the streets between Ferdinand and Marshall avenues, downtown Roanoke, Interstate 581 and Norfolk Southern railroad tracks along the Roanoke River. The Orchards Civic Association: Encompasses streets in The Orchards and Huntridge subdivisions of Northeast Roanoke County, off Alternate U.S. 220 near the Botetourt County line.
